The Word of God Empowered by the Holy-Spirit

I discovered this morning the importance of the active role of the Holy-Spirit with regard to the word of God. The Word of God cannot come to pass without the acknowledgment or realization of the involvement of the Holy-Spirit. Genesis chapter 1 :1 to verse 3(NKJV)suggest that the Holy-Spirit was hovering or can we say waiting for instructions from the mouth of God to respond to create what was said (the word of God).Luke chapter 1:26-38 (NKJV) where Mary was visited by the Angel Gabriel in regard to the word (Jesus). We read there that the angel gave her a word and that word will be born or manifested by the Holy-Spirit. We see how God told Samuel to go and anoint David (1Sam 16:12-13 NKJV). We also read that David after the word was spoken and the oil was poured on him the Holy-Spirit came on him. So the bible seems to suggest that the Holy-Spirit manifest the word of God. The written word is also called the"logos word".I believe the Rhema word is the Word of God that is walked (the word we do) and powered by the Holy-Spirit. We need not only the logos word but the Rhema word (the word we do) .The bible teaches us that the work of the Holy-Spirit is also to guide us in the truth (John 16:13 NKJV).The word of God is truth and God is truthful to His word. The word has the power (Holy-Spirit) to become what it says. Jesus says"the words I speak is spirit and life"John 6:63.The Holy-Spirit teaches the word to us according to 1Cor 2:13.The Holy-Spirit takes the word of God that we believe and adds power or a demonstration to that word 1Cor 2:4.We as teachers of the word of God cannot only teach the written or logos word but it must be in the power of God(Holy-Spirit led and done) (1Cor 2:5).The bible is very clear where the Holy-Spirit is concern"not by might nor by power (led by man's ability)but by My Spirit says the Lord"(Zech 4:6).

Old Wine, New Wine, New Wine Skins Old wine can be poured into new wineskins, but not the other way around. The scripture reads: “He also told them a parable: “No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old one; otherwise they will  tear both, and the piece from the new will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new [fermenting] wine will [expand and] burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.” Luke 5:36-39 Why can we not pour new wine into old wineskins? The wine ferments as it is stored in the wine-skins, releasing carbon dioxide. The fermentation process causes the wine-skin to expand constantly and stretches it causing it to lose its elasticity eventually and become hard. New wine has only begun its fermentation process therefore it will release greater pressure on the ol...
